Project Positioning:
The customer is a thermal power plant with loads requiring peak shaving and valley filling, while also needing grid-side inertia support and frequency regulation.
Core Configuration:
8 sets of 5MW/10MWh standardized energy storage units + grid-forming PCS + step-up integrated skid
Technical Highlights:
Virtual inertia time constant: 2 seconds
Primary frequency regulation response time: ≤50ms
Regulation settling time: ≤1 second
Black start capability: can provide startup power for the 6kV regional power grid during grid failures
Wide-band oscillation suppression: provides positive damping in the 0.2–2.5Hz frequency band, eliminating grid "flicker" / power fluctuations
Implementation Results:
Improves power stability of the Belarus thermal power plant project
Provides effective support during grid faults
Black start capability
Achieves 3x overload for 10 seconds
