Case Details

Background: Huangyang Biandan Village, Xikou Town, Xiushan County, Chongqing, is located deep in the mountains, far from the main power grid. Conventional power supply faces challenges such as high investment, long construction cycles, and unstable quality.

User Profile: Villager Cui Defang lives in a solitary household and needs to use production equipment such as a chaff cutter on his farm.

Pain Point: Due to the remote location, long power transmission lines, and frequent faults during extreme weather, electricity supply is unstable.

Solution:

  • Configuration: PV panels + 2 small wind turbines + energy storage battery cabinet

  • Strategy: Wind-solar hybrid power generation with energy storage. The system can store up to 50 kWh of electricity, meeting the user's needs for approximately 10 days.

Results:

  • The chaff cutter completes in less than half an hour what previously took two hours of manual chaff cutting

  • Electrical equipment operates normally again, with greatly improved power supply stability

  • Easy installation and transportation; clean power generation with no pollution
