
Senji Energy Storage has successfully completed a 3MW/6.3MWh solar-storage-diesel project with 24 energy storage cabinets in Myanmar.

It is estimated that the project adopts a "solar PV + energy storage + diesel" multi-energy complementary architecture:
Solar PV Side: Distributed photovoltaic panels are typically installed on factory rooftops or carports to generate green electricity.
Energy Storage Side: Configured as a 12.5MW/5MWh (i.e., a 2-hour system) battery energy storage system in containerized units, primarily serving peak shaving and emergency backup power functions.
Diesel Side: Deployed as the final layer of power assurance under extreme conditions to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical loads.
Senji Energy Storage: Likely acts as the energy storage system integrator and overall energy solution provider, responsible for overall system design and commissioning.
Haier: Leveraging its manufacturing and engineering capabilities in Thailand, Haier is likely responsible for electromechanical installation or the supply of key equipment such as PV modules.
The project is expected to deploy a Smart Energy Management System (EMS) to coordinate and optimize the operation of solar PV, storage, and diesel generators. Since diesel generators have slower response times, the energy storage system typically assumes the functions of "black start" (restarting the system without external power) and instantaneous voltage/frequency stabilization, thereby improving overall power supply reliability. Additionally, operating diesel generators under optimal conditions can reduce black smoke emissions, while integrating solar PV and storage further lowers carbon emissions.
Economic: Capitalizes on the peak-valley electricity price arbitrage for commercial and industrial users in Thailand to reduce electricity costs.
Functional: Addresses the intermittency of solar power generation, ensuring stable and uninterrupted production at the factory.
Environmental: Increases the share of renewable energy and reduces carbon emissions.
